CIFAS is a fraud prevention service, which encompasses many types of financial service organisations including banks, building societies, insurance companies, credit card companies, share dealers and finance houses. CIFAS also covers mail order and telecommunications.
All the organisations that participate in CIFAS are committed to sharing information and expertise to develop best practice in fraud prevention.
