My debit card online payment has failed using the online account service - will I be charged a late payment fee?
When you make a payment online you'll be advised straight away if your payment has been successful and we'll provide you with an authorisation code in confirmation. If your payment is declined we recommend that you check the details you entered and try again. If it's declined again we suggest you use one of the following alternative payment methods:
- Using your bank's internet or telephone banking service. You'll need to advise your bank of our sort code (20-04-15), account number (08552924) and your 16 digit credit card number which must be included as the payment reference (without any spaces). Please allow up to 1 working day for a payment to be received before your payment due date.
- At any UK Barclays Branch please allow 3 working days before your payment due date in cash only, or 4 working days before your payment due date by cheque or a mix of cash and cheques. At any UK branch of your bank please allow 3 working days before your payment due date in cash only, or 4 working days before your payment due date by cheque or a mix of cash and cheques - you may have to pay a fee. Please complete your bank giro credit and cheque with the exact amounts including the decimal point. Make your cheque payable to Thomas Cook Credit Card (include your name and account numer), for example Thomas Cook Credit Card (A Smith 4929 XXXX XXXX 0508). Also write your postcode on the reverse of the cheque.

You'll need to allow at least 4 working days (longer if posting from abroad) from your payment due date for the payment to be received and clear.
- To avoid being charged a late payment fee, please remember to pay at least the minimum payment amount. For future payments, you could set up a Direct Debit - this will be collected automatically every month and you won't miss making a payment. You can set up a Direct Debit by using our Online Account Service.
