The Card Security Code (sometimes known as the "CVV number") is the last 3 digits of the number printed on the signature strip on the back of your card. It's designed to help protect your card from fraudulent use and is often requested by retailers when you make transactions over the phone or on the internet. Please don't quote the Card Security Code unless you're sure the merchant is genuine and you want to proceed with the transaction.
