Will I have to give my PIN when making purchases online or over the phone?
Never disclose your PIN over the phone, Internet or post. When making transactions over the phone, Internet or by mail order, you'll need to confirm the card number on the front of your card and the Card Security Code (this is the last 3 digits of the number printed on the signature strip of your card). You'll only need to use your PIN when using the card in an ATM (cash machine) or a retailer's Chip and PIN pad.
