How can I set up a direct debit to make payments to my account?

You can set up a direct debit by using our online account service. You'll need to type in your bank name, account number and sort code and confirm whether you want to pay the minimum or full payment each month.

You can set up a Direct Debit to pay your minimum payment, full payment or a fixed amount in between. If you set up a fixed amount Direct Debit, please be aware that we will always take at least your minimum payment.

Please note that you must be the account holder and the only person required to authorise debits from the account. Please note some that banks and building societies may not accept direct debit instructions for some types of accounts.

For joint accounts where more than one signature is required, please download the direct debit instruction form, complete it and send it to us by post to the address on the form. Please note some that banks and building societies may not accept direct debit instructions for some types of accounts.
